The daily der/die/das puzzle

How to play

  1. Guess the German noun of 4 to 6 letters in 6 tries.
  2. Green: right letter, right place.
  3. Yellow: the letter is in the word, but elsewhere.
  4. Grey: the letter is not in the word.
  5. Then pick the article: der, die or das?
  6. Ä, Ö and Ü are letters of their own. There is no ß.
  7. After two guesses you can ask for a hint: first the first letter, then the meaning. A shared result says when a hint was used.

Tip: start with a word full of common letters, e.g. STEIN.
